It's not easy to capture people at events, so I commend you for effort. Sadly however, the photo lacks severely in good lighting and composition, and it destroys the artistic feel. It is obvious to me though that you had great control over the focus and aperture, and have a good idea as to what you were doing. This just isn't the best image you have.
